Vocaloids 2

What is Vocaloids 2 you ask ?

Vocaloid :
The first program was called Vocaloid and is a singing synthesizer application software developed by the Yamaha Corporation that enables users to synthesize singing by just typing in lyrics and melody.

With these featured voice sampling :

* Leon: English male (March 3, 2004)
* Lola: German and English female (March 3, 2004)
* Miriam: English female (July 26, 2004)
* Meiko: Japanese female (November 5, 2004)
* Kaito: Japanese male (February 17, 2006)

An Meiko being the most popular.

Vocaloids 2 :

Vocaloids 2 is the follow up to Vocaloid and far more popular & superior to Vocaloid.With both you can compose your own music or add existing music &
have any combination of sampled voices sing the songs for you by just typing in lyrics and melody... In other words, you just tell them what to sing!

An Hatsune Miku becoming the overall most popular Vocaloid and the staple of Vocaloids 2. Hatsune Miku translated from Japanese to English. Hatsu - meaning " First " Ne - meaning " Sound " Miku - meaning - "Future"

So Hatsune Miku means - First,Sound,Future

The voice sampling for Hatsune Miku comes from Saki Fujita, a Japanese voice actress.

An the next most popular Vocaloid is Kagamine Rin twin sister of Kagamine Len (this has been debated wither they are brother and sister but to me they are). Anyway Kagamine translated from Japanese to English. Kagami- meaning "Mirror" Ne - meaning " Sound "

So Kagamine means - Mirror, Sound

With Rin and Len - The first syllables of their given names a pun on "Left" and "Right"

The voice sampling for both Kagamine Rin and Len is provided by Asami Shimoda a Japanese voice actress.
